Hey! I’m Aaron
I grew up a Detroit kid with a love for movies, music videos and sports highlight reels. What started as sketches with friends developed into a passion I poured the next decade of my life into. Now, I’ve been in the media and post field for 11 years, and editing offline and online for almost 5. From cutting broadcast spots, rips, social sizes and banners, to cleanup and compositing — I’ve done it all.
It went like this. I gained onset skills during a PA internship at Fox 47 while attending MSU. I grew my love for sports media as a camera operator and replay editor for the Lansing Lugnuts, which led to ENG camera operation for Fox Sports Detroit (Wings, Tigers, Pistons).
Next was a summer gig at Quicken, sharpening my editing and post skills on internal training videos and DE&I projects. From there, I landed my first ad gig in the Doner Underground as Assistant Editor, finishing for big clients. As I worked my way up to Finish Editor, I honed my cleanup, compositing and After Effects graphics skills. I know Flame and DaVinci Resolve, and am always interested in learning new softwares.
Also, very importantly, I’m a good hang. If I’m not working, you’ll find me playing hockey in my men’s league (let’s go Wednesday Knights!), fussing over my lawn, scoring my latest-watched movies in my group chat “The Academy”, obsessing over Detroit and Michigan athletics and hanging out with my wife and baby.
Let’s talk!
